Animal Communications 101: A Basic Introduction
So just what is animal communication?
Simply put, it is the telepathic exchange of cognitive and emotional energy between an animal (usually a pet) and a human being. This connection involves a number of elements including a high degree of empathy, an advanced level of intuition and the interchange of telepathic images, impressions, thoughts and feelings.
The energy available for this communication is all around us. The Law of Thermodynamics states that energy is neither created nor destroyed, but only transferred from one system to another. Quantum Physics research has also discovered that, at the particle level, all separateness disappears, and everything is connected.
A service dog can alert its owner of an oncoming seizure. Equine therapy is based on a horse’s ability to identify and heal trauma. And most people can tell a story of a time when their pet ‘just knew’ they had received bad news that day. Over and over animals have shown they are acutely attuned to human feelings, so why haven’t we been able to reciprocate that intuition with our animals?
There are several reasons. For one, many methods of energy exchange – reiki, acupuncture and EMDR – have only been accepted into mainstream Western culture in the last few decades. Even the act of meditation, proven to reduce stress and clear the mind, took years to be welcomed by the medical profession. Another reason is the almost ‘automatic’ limiting beliefs we place on our own intuition. Yet we have all experienced ignoring that ‘gut feeling’ only to have it confirmed as true within a short time later. Lastly, the process of communicating with animals is not simply a matter of ‘wanting’ to do it. It requires a particular type of training to be able to release the Ego as well as any limiting beliefs and judgments about the experience itself.
I began my journey over 40 years ago. In that time, I have worked with both humans and animals. I have helped people gave deeper insights into their lives through Tarot as well as using my intuition as an empath to learn the histories of rescued animals in shelters.
I could list many more examples, but what it comes to is this – it works. The ability to communicate with animals on a deep and meaningful level is real, and I would love to show you just how much it can benefit you and your animal companion.
